Summer 2010

hey guys 
- sorry i havent been keeping up with my blog. A lot has happened. Well for one im finally a junior and for the summer i flew out to my mom’s house in Oregon for 3 weeks. i worked at her office for a couple weeks. One weekend me and my mom took a trip down tot he Oregon coast for a mother-daughter trip. it was peaceful and relaxing and we had fun. I did go to physical therapy because of my knee. The muscle is weak and i do need a knee brace. i also have excercises everyday that i need to do but it will pay off in the end. My last day there my step sister and i drove down to the coast. it was 90 degrees and it felt awesome!! Oh for 4th of july we went to the blue’s festival and sat there for 6 or something hours till the fireworks. it was pretty cool. and the first day i got to oregon we went to the zoo. that was fun to.
- ON july 8th i flew back to MN and stayed with my friend Abby it was so much fun!! the first night we pulled an all- nighter. but the next day we got pretty tired. we watched Eclipse and hung out with friends all weekend. then on tuesday we went to valley fair. it was pretty amazing. On thursday abby had her birthday party at crystal lake and after that we went to her cabin and lake. We went boating an tubing and swimming. we even caught 23 turtles that weekend. and the day after we drove up to her farm. it did rain and storm up there but there were a few times it was sunny. But there were tornado watches and warnings all day. it was pretty cool. Abby and I had a fantastic time together and hopefully she is coming down in the winter.
- i am now back in texas and when i had arrived back home there was a cute puppy waiting for me she is a pitbull shepard and very lovable. I named her peanut she is very energetic and very lovable. I am now looking for a job and not having very much luck 
but hopefully soon. School starts August 23 for me so its coming up pretty soon. Our ac has failed on us a couple times since i have been here but we finally got it fixed hopefully i will keep updating my blog and let you all know whats going on.

Today was my birthday and thank you to all who said happy birthday to me!! it really did make my day
most of the day i layed around watching tv. (i was home by myself most the day) i made brownies and what not. then i texted my aunt and she said she would come pick me up for supper. so kayloni (my cousin) and my aunt vonda picked my up and we went out to eat and then shopping at the mall. i spent over $100 which was exciting and got lots of nice new clothes which i needed for the most part. i did have a very fun day and night and i am starting to like being 16! love you all <3
My birthday in texas/school update

So tomorrow is my 16 th birthday. my dad has to work on monday so last night we decided to celebrate my birthday. my unlce Chad and my aunt Vonda came over. first we cooked tacos my favorite and then we sat in the hot tub. well the hot tub was getting to hot so me and my dad decided to go jump in the pool. well even though its like 80 or so outside the pool is still 70. so we jumped in and the pool was pretty chilly. lol but we did a few more jumps back and forth. it was fun. after the hot tubbing we went inside and ate cake. by then it was getting late so vonda and chad went home. i got lots of birthday cards and im getting a futon soon for my room so far my birthday is going great and tomorrow i have no school so me and my cousin are going shopping at the mall cant wait.
about school. im starting to get the feel of school. im making more friends. and more people are starting to talk to me. i have had to take a couple of tests but thats school. so whats weird is i have advisory everyday right before lunch. so thats different. and when i do ride the bus i have to be at my bus stop at 6:25 in the morning thats like when i wake up haha and then i end up getting at the school at 6:45 and school doesnt start till 7:30. but thats why i have chelsea she usually drives me in the mornings. and after school. and i should be getting my liscence soon which is excting. im just waiting on a few things. um…. other than that school is school and not much is going on. lol

this article is finally here. lol i know you all have been waiting for news about texas, well here it is!!!
Saturday: March 27, i flew into new mexico and then off to Dallas, TX. My awesome cousin Cody picked me up and we went to down town Dallas. He took me out to a very nice custard place and we talked for a bit. ( he was giving me tips on how to not be so stressed) we headed over to my cousins house afterwards and i soon fell asleep.
Sunday: March 28, my dad had came in early that morning so when i woke up me and my uncle… i think or my aunt went over to check out my house. My dad was already there unloading. so all of sunday we unloaded the truck. it was very.. busy work lol my grandma and my uncle and cousin from mn came down to to help out. today we also went to target and got my new bedding set. its white and black and the trim is blue. its very pretty. we also went out and got paint for my room. the color is green its very pretty. ( i am still trying to get pictures up.. sorry)
Monday: March 29, we did a lot of work today. we moved boxes and un packed a little bit. my aunt vonda and my dad and me went to the school to check me in but then found out that i have to go to student services. So we went to student services and i got enrolled. but the school office was closed so i would have to go back another day. ( so no school for monday ) when we got back came and my aunt vonda worked on painting my room. but the orange color was peaking through so we figured we would have to do another coating. and that bascically what we did the rest of the day.
Tuesday: March 30, today we did more painting and un packing. we put the second coating on my room but u could still see th orange so it was time for a third coat. we weren’t able to get to the school today either ( which means no school today either ) i also helped my dad out around the house which wasnt to bad.
Wednesday: March 31, today i did a third coat of painting on my room. finally it looked good!!! after the paint was mostly dry i made my bed and put it in the corner i wanted it. then i started going through boxes and putting some in my closet. We also stopped by the school. but the counselers were busy with setting kids up with schedules and what not so they said it was best if i come back tomorrow morning. ( so no school today ) but chealsea, my cousin and her bf, drew stopped by and picked me up and we went to the mall. There mall is very nice and we did some shopping and looking around, It was nice.
Thursday April 1, so today was nerve racking. i went to school. both me and my dad woke up at 6 and headed for school at 7. We talked to some person there and went over the handbooks. There were a lot of kids there that morning to and my dad had to leave for work so i was stuck by myself in the office for about 10 to 15 minutes. I finally got called to the counselers office and got my schedule. Then a student showed me around the school. Its very big. Bigger than apple valley. and very strict. For example if your trdy to class you are not aloud to come into the classroom. you go to the cafeteria and its called” hall sweep”. you miss class for that day. and cell phones are never to be used at all during the day. the first offense you get it taken away the rest of the day and can only pick it up on monday or thursday. and the second offense you have to pay $15. which i think is crazy. But anyway i started class thursday. i missed first hour but i made it to 2 nd. I only have 5 periods to. each class is an hour and 20 minutes. and i even have a class outside in a little building portable housing thing. i did meet some people though. i talked to quite a few actually. and my cousin chelsea and her bf drew have my lunch which is nice. The classes arent hard. I actually have already gone through some of the material. after school me and my dad went shopping to low s and picked up a couple things fro my room and the house. it was a busy night.but we did go to my cousin s and watch a movie which was nice and relaxing
Friday: april 2, today we went to sam’s club and went food shopping. we got a lot of food. it was insane but almost all of it looked yummy. afterward we went to walmart for some supplies and then went back home. i un packed some more boxes and set my room up a little bit more. im exhausted though from the busy week. the house is looking nice though and im very glad its the weekend ! i still need some things for my room though before i un pack everything. but once i get my liscence and a job i can slowly start to get my room together.

Spring Break

This years spring break has been a little bit different but very fun. I got here saturday march 20 th. We got here kinda late so we didnt stay up very long.
March 21: sunday we all slept in and hung around the house. we played apples to apples which was very fun and entertaining. it was like a family bonding time. we also had walked the dogs to starbucks and got some coffee. it was very nice out.
march 22: monday, another relaxing day. the parents were off at work and becca was leaving that day, so we hung out with her till she left. then tanner and i just kind of hung around the house.
march 23: tuesday, it was another day for me and tanner so we just layed around the house. Then since it was so nice out we decided to walk to bethany village and get some ice cream. we took the dogs with us then to and ran into my friends dad.
march 24: wednesday, i woke up early and went with my mom to work to say hi to everyone. I tried not to bug keli to much i actually ended up working for an hour just answering phones, quite simple really lol when lunch time came around i went home and cleaned the kitchen… it was kinda messy. later that night i helped make taco s and since it was still very nice out the family took the dogs on a neighborhood walk.
march 25: thursday, my mom took the day off of work to spend time with me and my brother. First my mom and I went to get pedicures. i got blue with white polka dots and a hot pink flower my mom got pink with white polka dots. we actually got another woman to do polka dots to. we are very inspiring lol after the pedicures we stopped at the dentist and then i got to drive home it was very fun. We picked up tanner and then went to the bridgeport mall and went out to eat p.f. changs. it was very good. then we did a little shopping. i got a bracelet that is a diamond dolphin. and afterward we went to watch alice in wonderland. it was quite good. i do recommned that movie. After the movie we went back home and changed and went back out to eat at Behtnays Table. They also had very good food there. I got to open presents. I got puma shoes and an i pod doc and a very cute make up bag! i love all of them. after presents i got dessert. The lady brung out a very rich chocolate cake on a plate with a huge candle in it. my mom banged on the wine bottle with her knife… which got every one’s attention and started singing happy birthday. i think the whole place was singing it. it was embarrassing but sweet of my mom. it was a very fun night
march 26th: friday, today i slept in and around 1 o’clock i went and hung out with friends it was a very fun afternoon. I hung out with marissa and jeena and went out to eat first. then we went shopping and afterward we went to starbucks and just kinda hung out. Now im home with family and have to go pack i leave at 11 tomrrow morning and have a layover in new mexico. how fun lol
My 16 th birhtday party/ Go away party

Friday march 19th i had my 16 th birthday/ go away party. it was a happy and sad evening. i had a lot of people show up. which i was happy about. but a couple of people weren’t able to come, which is always sad. But anyway, my dad had helped me put decorations up. which also looked very good. we had lights and pictures on the walls and ribbons hanging from ceiling to ceiling. we even had flowers and a grass table skirt on the table. i even found some luau music that was played for awhile. And i had a bucket of lei s that i would put on people as they walked in. We had some very good food, and punch all thx to my dad well and mom helped out some to (with some momey that is) lol. once people started showing up we got the music going and some games going to. We had the limbo start up a couple of times. and we played twister, which didnt last very long. lol i also had people vote for the best dress. 1ST place was: BRAYDON S. 2ND place was: ABBY K. and 3RD place was: KRISTINIA R. i had small trophies for everyone to. Later we had opened presents and i am very happy and thankful for what i got. I loved each and every gift. We did do the macerana and the cha cha slide and me and abby busted out some of our dance moves along with braydon and kristinia. lol all together is was a very fun night and as it slowly closed we started crying. Im happy about all who came and it was a very cheerful and fun night. I did have abby stay the night and we shared our last few hours together talking and saying our good byes.
- I am so glad i got to meet everyone and im so happy that i have you guys. i know u will always be there for me and i will alaways be here for you. i love and miss all of you and i hope the best for you guys for the rest of your school years. thx for the great times i had with each and every one of you!! <3
The Cruise

On February 9 th, we took off on our trip to Flordia. We woke up i thin it was at 4 in the morning and headed to the airport. We had a connecting flight in Tennessee and then we flew to Miami, Flordia. When we finally got to the airport we waited for our luggage and then had to wait for the bus to come pick us up. We then got to the ship and waited in line to check in. Finally we walked through the doors to enter the ship. Right when i stepped onto that ship, i didnt feel like i was in one. It was so amazing! There were glass elevaters and stores everywhere and huge light fixtures. It was truly amazing. We found our room on the 2 floor. It was kind of cramped, but it was still nice. We dropped our stuff off and made our way up to the top deck to wait for the take off. it took a little longer then normal but when that horn did go off oh my goodness i think i went deaf!! it was so loud!! Once the boat started going we went down and explored the ship. (ill have pictures on here later of the cruise). We went down to the diner around six. Now there food there is amazing!i have never had food so amazing than what we had on the cruise. The first night i had a shrimp cocktail and turkey and a choclate brownie. it was all very delicious. after supper tanner and i went for a walk around the ship. whcih is very cool at night. when we came off the elevator there was this guy that came up to me asking if i knew where the teen room was and i wasnt sure so we walked together and talked until we found the tten room.
The second day we were suppose to go to coco cay but we were unable to because of the waves. so we headed on to nassua. when we ended up in nassau we spent a day in a half there. it was quite lovely. we ended up exploring a lot of the town. We went through a lot of the shops and bought a lot of items and we even went through a pirate museum which was actually very neat!
The 3 rd day we went snorlking with the sting rangs. now that was an expirience! we feed them squid and they would like climb up your legs. it was so weird. i had to get out after awhile cuz it was to creepy for me. instead i went tanning on the beach whats cool was that we were at the same island as the sandals beach. so that was cool. that same day we had to bored the ship and head back home. That night was fun. i stayed out till late with my friend and there was a lot going 0n with the crew like dancing and pool parties.
The cruise was the most fun i have had in awhile and every one got a nice tan or burn in my case lol i cant wait to go on another cruise . hope you liked reading about the fun times on my cruise.
